About this deal

The sex was hotter here but the storyline and emotional ups and downs seemed better in the Miles Collection for me. Their hotel romps were seriously steamy and I kind of loved seeing Brielle boss him around and go mama bear on everyone. At first, Brielle makes a fool of herself, acts like an irresponsible teenager than a nanny and if I were the father, I would definitely kick her out of my house!

Now, if you get past the above issues and are ready for the book, let me give you some more ideas about it and don’t worry, it will be a spoiler-free review. She’s the typical cipher heroine you’ll see in alphahole romances, where her personality tends to be inconsistent and fluctuate to suit the particular scene. However, towards the end, they cannot keep their hands off each other at the house and Julian starts to come to her room after the children sleep. Brielle is arriving in London for a 12 month work visa working as a nanny, and she is shocked when she finds out that Julian is actually a male and not the female she thought he was. I mean, it’d been a long time since I’ve read an alphahole book, but usually I can find something to enjoy, especially when you get to see the hero let go of the jackassery and embrace the love.Mr Julian Masters is a dominant, hot and handsome man and although he is emotionally unavailable, sexually, he is a burning fire. The heroes inability to commit (or even know what it was that he really wanted) and his frequent f*ck ups pared off nicely with all the GROVELING that followed after.

This book suffers from a split personality - it couldn’t decide whether to be an erotic romance or a single parent rom com. If you come out and said to me, ‘Dad, I'm a Republican now', I would tell you that you're too young to make that decision.Besonders liebe ich es wie sie alles zu verbinden versteht, die Thematik, die ernst ist und der Humor der immer wieder dazwischen kommt mit einer großen Portion Spice! First of all I understand why he didn’t want another relationship but he was rude and disrespectful throughout the entire book and in the end when they break up before ever even making their relationship public he is a complete also and there is no groveling whatsoever. Do NOT assume the expected because when he reveals why he is the way he is, it makes total sense and I liked that it was not a cliché reason but a different one. However, despite all the things that would make this book “far from an ideal love story”, if you can accept that it is “their story with the good and the bad in it”, then you may still enjoy the ride as much as I did because “what a ride it is! The writing is not my thing, the pacing is all over the place, and a lot of character actions come out of left field.

you definitely need to read on because this story is so heartbreakingly good that it brings a tear to your eye. I generally steer clear of books involving a deceased spouse, single parents, age gaps between the main characters, and. Love my kiddos to pieces, but I don't really like to be confronted with kids when I'm reading to escape!

Now we have the kids who we’re both realistic and acted how so thought kids their age would act and I really like how we had a bit of representation with Willow. I loved Bree and her Aussie ism’s, TL Swan nailed her character and I loved that Julians anguish over his wife was not predictable. So, if you’ve read Swan’s “Find Me Alastar” you will have already met the lovely Australian Nanny Brielle and the uptight Judge Masters. Masters is not a man who is still mourning after his beloved dead wife and doesn’t want to love and lose another woman again.

Unlike all the other heroines that fall to the sway of a rich, older man, Bree is seriously unimpressed with the hero’s wealth or his wealthy status and all the baggage it brings. After the worst start to her employment imaginable, almost getting herself fired on the first night, she gradually gains the trust and friendship of Julian’s two children, the sweet young Samuel and the troubled teenage daughter Willow. Not only that, but you were extremely wishy-washy, a ginormous asshole for no fucking reason, honestly straight up stupid, and generally nasty. I have read many erotic books and I find a lot of them are either well written but minimal sex scenes or poorly written and many sex scenes. The more the story evolves and the more we get glimpses of how heart-broken he is, the more I started to like him.

The kids were the spawn of the devil and I spied through a window and caught him doing something obscene. At one moment, she’s acting as if he’s the most amazing man to ever amaze and then the next, he’s broken a-hole. Safety: This one is probably either Safe with exception or Not Safe for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences. So him and the h are hooking up, he discusses everything with his two buddies like they're teenagers. Brielle and Julian try to ignore their attraction for a short while but they cannot resist the sizzling hot chemistry between them for long and they start a “friends with benefits” arrangement.
