( Human interest story - Goff is getting more sentimental with every passing year. The Tamla Tigers set very high standards on their choices of equipment. Even so, it is well-known how much Goff loves his positively ancient mike stand, so much so that no-one has ever managed to persuade him to part with it. His mike stand is rumoured to be a modified Victorian budgerigar cage stand. All donations for a proper new mike stand with chrome all over - not just joining up the rust patches - will be very gratefully received)
